JOB PURPOSE
In this leadership role, and as a member of the management team, you will be responsible for the project management and ongoing operation of Ve’ahavta’s social service programs. In collaboration with your supervisor, the Director of Programs, you will plan and execute the organization’s program plan and ensure programs are consistent, efficient, and effective in meeting objectives and targets, while producing the best possible outcomes for our clients.
The programs you will manage serve individuals facing poverty and hardship, who face barriers related to mental health, substance use, housing, unemployment etc. Our clients participate in these programs in order to stabilize their lives and prepare for employment. Our programs include internships, job training, life skills training, peer support groups, career counselling, along with wrap around supports.
You will develop systems to enhance and improve program processes and service delivery to maximize impact. You will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of Program Coordinators and related staff members who run the day to day operations of the programs. Your accountabilities will include tracking and monitoring program performance against pre-determined targets and managing relevant data in order to analyze trends across programs and make recommendations for improvements.
As a champion for our programs, you will build and grow relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders. Other managerial duties include budget monitoring, supervision and talent management, and health and safety of program facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years related professional experience in a social service program role
- 1-3 years of supervision/leadership experience
- Undergraduate/post graduate degree in related field required
- Superb case management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, desire and ability to mentor/coach/train staff
- Driven, motivated, creative, and confident leader
- Tech savvy with a strong interest in learning new applications and platforms
- Strong work ethic, highly motivated and passionate about making an impact
- Highly organized, ethical, efficient, and detail oriented
