Need help with basic needs right now? You’re not alone.

The Mobile Jewish Response to Homelessness (MJRH) outreach van program provides immediate relief and referrals to people facing homelessness, poverty, and hardship. Each night, our two vans visit several locations in downtown Toronto and Scarborough, from which our outreach workers and volunteers deliver essential supplies including: nutritious meals, clothing, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, harm reduction kits, hot coffee, and other goods. We try our best to bring our outreach van clients what they need, from night to night. Staff can provide you with follow-up support and referrals to community agencies to assist with access to housing, mental health and addiction treatment and other available resources.

Outreach van service is typically available Monday-Saturday from 6pm-12 am and Sunday from 1:30-8pm.

Please call 416-964-5572 for schedule changes or shift cancellations.
