Prep for success!
Recipe for Success is an employment-focused training and internship program that increases knowledge, skills, and confidence in food preparation for anyone who has an interest in securing work in the food service industry. The Training Program runs four weeks, with select graduates being accepted to the subsequent four-month Internship Program. Recipe for Success is designed to support those facing poverty and instability in their lives due to socio-economic, mental health, and other circumstantial factors.

Successful applicants to the Upper Shelf Internship Program and the Recipe for Success Internship Program are automatically sponsored through The Jesse Diamond Internship.

- Strong interest in finding employment in food preparation
- Ability to engage and commit to full 8 weeks of program
- Participants require Covid-19 vaccination

Training Program length: 4 weeks
Hours: 4-hr in-kitchen workshops, once per week

Internship Program length: 4 months
Hours: 4-hr in-kitchen workshops, twice per week
Learning: Weekly online workshops
Stipend: $45 per shift

Are you an Ve’ahavta program alumnus? If so, you can refer new prospective clients to apply to Ve’ahavta’s Training or Internship programs: Building Foundations for Women (BFW), Ve’ahavta Skills Academy (VSA), Upper Shelf Inventory Management Internship, or Recipe for Success Training/Internship Program, and receive $25 for each successful referral!
NOTE: The referee must complete the application process, but they don’t need to be accepted into a program in order for you to receive your fee.
