The Jesse Diamond Internship was founded in 2022 by the Diamond Family, to support the aspirations of individuals to gain marketable skills, boost their employability, bolster their self-sufficiency, and ultimately, to improve their lives.

The internship takes its name from Jesse Diamond (z”l), one of Ve’ahavta’s first interns, who left this world on July 26, 2021, at the age of 39. Jesse was funny and quick-witted, kind and compassionate, and as a volunteer, demonstrated a particular talent for connecting with youth who were living on the street. Ve’ahavta was a charity near and dear to his heart.

The Jesse Diamond Internship commemorates the life of a truly wonderful soul who touched the lives of countless Ve’ahavta clients.

Successful applicants to the Upper Shelf Internship Program and the Recipe for Success Internship Program are sponsored by The Jesse Diamond Internship.
