Special Birthdays and Events
When hosting a party of any kind, ask your guests to kindly donate to Ve’ahavta in lieu of gifts. Ve’ahavta will thank your guests on your behalf and send out tax receipts. In lieu of party favours at events or weddings, consider making a gift in honour of your guests.
A lovely card on their tables can inform them of your meaningful contribution. In lieu of gifts, you may request that your guests bring an item for those in need, such as warm clothing for people who experiencing homelessness.
CanadaHelps is a trusted charity, informing, inspiring and connecting charities and donors with the causes they care about. Ve’ahavta collects all of the Ve’ahavta-related fundraisers in one secure, easy to use, online space.
Select “Create a Fundraiser” and complete the sign-up page with all your details. We encourage you to personalize your page – explain your campaign, add photos and videos and talk about why you are supporting Ve’ahavta. Share your page widely on social media, via e-mail, in person or on invitations!
